About MTC Photography
The FAA requires all commercial operations using a small unmanned aircraft (UAS) under 55 pounds to be performed by an operator that has been licensed by the FAA under Part 107 of the Federal Aviation Regulations.
Under Part 107 the licensed operator must follow a strict set of rules and requirements to ensure the safety of others.
To become certified a person must pass an aeronautical test at an FAA-approved testing center and continue to renew the certification every two years.
